How to Create a Web Site with IM Creator’s XPRS Builder

Remember the first time you started a web site or blog of your own? If it was several years ago, you probably had the joy of creating your site in one program, designing and coding it in another then uploading the site through FTP to your server. After that, all of the images would be uploaded and you would have to keep an eye on your HTML to make sure everything was setup and working properly.
Then WordPress came along and made the concept much easier for everyone to setup, without much need for coding and design work. However, when setting up your very first web site, all of this can be quite overwhelming. The idea of getting a domain, setting up hosting and designing a site can be enough to stop someone in their tracks and get them to just give up.
Fortunately there are many web site builders out there that are based off a simple drag and drop system that allows anyone to get setup with their first site in just minutes. Such services also eliminate the need to setup hosting, domains and other advanced settings, as many have them already built in.
IM Creator is one of these advanced site builders and not only do they host hundreds of thousands of sites on their platform, but they also continually update their platform and make it advanced enough for even online shopping sites, big brands and white label businesses to use.
In this article we are going to take a look at IM Creator and their latest improvements by implementing their XPRS site builder.

How to Create a Site with IM Creator

I don’t want to waste too much time on this section, as IM Creator has perfected the process of making it extremely easy for someone to visit their site and create a site of their own in just a few short clicks. The first thing you will need to do is decide between using their drag and drop site builder or their new XPRS site builder.
IMCreator Site Builder
We’ve listed some of the features and benefits of each site building method below.

Drag and Drop Web Site Builder

At the beginning of the article I talked about how much of a mission it was to create a site of your own back in the day — now it’s as easy as clicking a few different buttons based on how you want to build your site.
With the IM Creator drag and drop builder you can select a template theme that you want to use or simply start from a blank template.
IMCreator Drag and Drop Builder
After selecting a template that matches the look and feel of what you would like to build, you can then start modifying and create your own content through the visual drag and drop builder.
IM Creator Drag and Drop Builder
The drag and drop builder is the best option for anyone who is looking to setup their first site and wants to first discover how easy the system is to use. For more advanced sites and better customization, the XPRS builder is what you’ve been looking for.

– XPRS Builder

As bloggers, we are all quite familiar with the WordPress platform and how it’s made the concept of blog and site creation so easy for people throughout the world. The new XPRS website building tool has been labeled as “A Better WordPress” solution — which definitely grabs our interest.
While the drag and drop editor on IM Creator is nice for creating sites, the XPRS builder is the best way to go if you want to build a high quality site that stands out from the crowd while also meeting all of your needs in the process.
With the XPRS builder, you can still use the same drag and drop concept, but now you can take total control over how your site looks, feels and navigates through the use of “Stripes”. Stripes allow you to build your site in layers, while also being able to easily add/remove new sections to your site.
Polydom
As with the drag and drop editor, the start up process is the same. When you visit IMCreator.com, you can click on the XPRS builder and then select any of their high quality XPRS templates to start with.
XPRS_Site_Templates
After selecting your theme, you will then get to walk through a short video intro that shows you the four steps to creating an amazing site with XPRS. This video breaks down a simple 4 step process.
  1. Click on any element and edit it
  2. Add stripes to your page
  3. Switch a stripes design
  4. Manage and add items
The next step is for you to start editing your site through the XPRS builder, which can be seen below.
XPRS_Dual_Customization
While the concept is extremely powerful and can seem overwhelming at first, it’s extremely easy to use and will create a much better site experience than just the traditional drag and drop editor.
IM XPRES is also powered by Amazon and Google,  and creates a strong, reliable foundation for any type of site you can think of.

With IM Creator offering both free and Pro membership levels for all of their users, no matter which level you choose, you will still gain access to these powerful benefits and features.

The Cost of Creating a Site with IM Creator

As with all site builders and web hosting platforms, there has to be a business model in place, and this is no different with IM Creator. After creating your site, you can then choose from various options for your site, such as adding a domain, connecting with an existing domain or even adding a white label service of IM Creator to your business. The Pro plan and business models would be perfect for affiliate marketers, design and hosting agencies, resellers and businesses that are looking to use a legitimate solution while working with their clients and getting them an established presence on the internet.
IM_Creator_Upgrade_to_Pro
There is a free version of IM Creator, which all users start off with, and is created mainly for students, non-profits and casual users who are looking to start their first web site.
The Pro version of IM Creator includes a domain name and hosting for your site, which comes at a low cost of $7.95 per month.
The White Label version of IM Creator is especially powerful, as it essentially gives you the power of IM Creator and the ability to have people create their own sites — but through your own site, brand and platform. The cost to setup a white label solution with your own site is only $250 per year. You can learn more about and purchase the Pro package here.

IM Creator — Your Best Bet for Starting a New Site

As mentioned throughout the review, IM Creator has done a great job at establishing themselves as one of the major players in the site design and creation space. With their latest implemention of the XPRS site builder, site owners can now have more control over their sites than ever before — and still never need to touch a line of code!

While the two main components of AdsBridge are it’s landing page creation tool and ad tracking capabilities, there are plenty of advanced features within the platform as well. You can refer to our full AdsBridge review post for a detailed breakdown on everything.
Below we are going to highlight the main features of the landing page builder and components of AdBridge’s campaign tracking platform.

Landing Page Builder

If you’ve ever experienced the joy of having to create your own landing pages from scratch and using HTML and a graphic editing program, I feel your pain. This is a struggle that many online marketers had to deal with for well over a decade, until the industry started creation drag and drop solutions to make this process much easier and way more cost effective.
This is exactly what AdsBridge had in mind when they create their own landing page builder. They wanted to make it extremely easy and for the end user to never have to touch a line of code.
In addition to the builder itself, AdsBridge also has a wide range of templates that users can work off of — or the ability to start a landing page from scratch. You can see a few example of their landing page templates below, which scale across all of the important niche markets such as weight loss, dating, gaming, financial, sweepstakes and more. All of these templates were also designed with full optimization in mind as well.

Once you select a landing page template from their site, it will then be brought into the landing page editor. As you can see in the screenshot below, it’s as simple as clicking wherever you like, and making the necessary edits to your liking. In addition to the look and feel of your site, you can also setup full conversion tracking and advanced split testing.

Advanced Tracking Platform

You can great the best looking landing page in the world, but if you can’t track it’s performance and split test results to improve conversions… you are just asking to lose money on your next ad campaign.
In the past (and with other services), you would need to have a separate provider to create your landing pages, upload them to your server and then do the same with a tracking platform. There haven’t been too many options for having both landing pages and tracking built within one platform — until AdsBridge that is.
In the screenshot below you can see just a sampling of the advanced ad tracking capabilities that AdsBridge has to offer.
AdsBridge_Tracking_Platform-1024x634
The most well known methods for landing page and ad campaign tracking are conversions, split testing and click through rates, but AdsBridge offers advanced tracking across the board.

Create Stunning Mockups in Seconds: Placeit Review

Sometimes things are almost easier to create in concept than they are to execute in reality; this is something that a lot of online marketers creating and developing apps have experienced. Creating mockups and videos for products like mobile apps have previously been a giant pain for online marketers to create.
Now, however, thanks to Placeit, creating stunning mockups and videos in just a few seconds is not only possible—it’s simple and hassle-free, too.
Placeit

What Is Placeit?

Placeit is a web app tool that allows you to generate self-proclaimed fancy mockups and high quality product images of your apps being used in realistic environments.
Their enormous selection enables fast creation of multiple mock-ups on a variety of different devices, environments/stages (backgrounds). They currently support screenshots of some Microsoft, iOS, and Android products.
Placeit
One of the best parts of Placeit is that it’s not only easy to use—it’s also free to create these images and videos, and easily affordable to download them. You can upload screen shots and create mockups and videos literally in a matter of about thirty seconds, with text and effects added on if you desire.
These mockups—and even videos—can be essential to marketing your app, as well as giving you a strong idea of how it will look. You can see if it looks how you expected, at least in theory, or if it doesn’t look quite right.
Once you’re happy with your mockups and videos, you can pay to download them. Pricing depends on the quality and number of mockups or videos you’re purchasing, and we talk about that more in the pricing & plans section of this blog post.

How to Create Mockups with Placeit

Creating stunning, high quality mockups and videos is possible in just a few seconds on Placeit.
To create a mockup with Placeit, start at their homepage. You can either browse through all of the options, or you can choose a specific device, such as the iPhone 6, a smartwatch, or the Google Nexus. Find an image that you like and click on it.
Placeit
Once you’ve chosen your image, you’ll upload the screenshot of your app from your computer. You may have to crop it if necessary, but it uploads in just a few seconds. You can also grab a screenshot from a URL.
Placeit
Once created, you can share the image, add text and/or effects, and download it for unlimited and unrestricted use. Small downloads with a watermark are even free, and high and super high quality images are still highly affordable.
PlaceitCreating app demo videos is just as simple. Find a video stage by sorting out video options from the homepage.
PlaceIt
You can choose to either record your screen, which will become the video that you can edit, or you have enter the URL for your website and have Placeit automatically make a video for you. Both options are easy to use and hassle free.
Placeit
Once created, you can edit and download videos, saving yourself a ton of time in the process.

Why Placeit Matters for Marketers

Apps, software, and website development are an essential part of businesses today, and when it comes to advertising your app (or software or website), having a high quality mockup of your app being used can drastically increase downloads and usage.
Most app and software developers trying to market their creations have spent hours upon hours digitally placing screenshots of their products onto images of a phone, tablet, and/or computer; it takes even longer if you do all three, and exponentially longer if you choose to create mockups on different types of devices like Samsung and Apple.
Aside from the marketing benefit of being able to use these images for advertising, these mockups also give app and software developers the chance to get a glimpse at what their product will actually look like on a device. If aesthetic changes need to be made, they can—before any additional money is spent finalizing the app.

Pricing & Options

Though you can create all mockups for free, you pay for downloads of the images and videos.
For one time purchases of either images or videos, pricing depends on the quality and/or size. High quality images are $8, and super high are $28. Normal sized videos are $99 to download.
Placeit
You can also choose image download packs, where you get a bulk discount but pay by how many images (high and/or super high) that you want to download. You purchase them all at once. Download packs are currently only for images.
Placeit
If creating mockups and their videos is something you do frequently, you can save with subscriptions. Subscription plans start at just $12 a month, giving you unlimited image downloads with only a tiny watermark. Their most expensive image plan is their Pro pan, which is $99 per month and offers 31 high resolution images every month, with no water mark, and discounts off other additional purchases. The video subscription plan is $199 per month and gives you 3 high resolution videos and images every month, as well as hefty discounts on additional video purchases.
Placeit
To see all of their pricing and plans, you can see them when you click here and then click on “Save with Subscriptions.”

Placeit Summary

If you’re developing or have created an app or other software, Placeit is a tool that you should have in your tool box. Being able to create high quality mockups and videos is highly valuable to any marketer and creator, for a variety of reasons we’ve discussed above. Placeit’s high quality and simple, easy-to-use navigation and interface easily makes it my top choice when it comes to services that help marketers advertise and/or visualize their apps.
How many hours have you spent creating mockups painstakingly by hand. Imagine how much easier it would be to have Placeit do all the hard work for you—and potentially for free!

3 Reasons Your Link Building Strategies Won’t Help Your Search Engine Ranking

Among the over 200 Google ranking signals, quality and trusted incoming links are the firepower that incredibly increase search engines ranking; with domain-level link authority and page-level link features sharing 40% of total ranking factors between them.
The more relevant, quality, trusted and authoritative links pointing back to your webpages, the more your chances of ranking high in search engines results pages increases, right?
Well, that’s true and it is a fact that has being proven, established and accepted in the SEOs arena.
But sometimes, you’re not just getting the expected reward for your ongoing link building efforts, you’re sure of putting in your all and just about everything you’ve read on effective link building strategies for seo purposes – you’ve tried and tested everything.

You’ve done almost everything accordingly, the links are live on your link partners websites pointing back to your individual webpages – but your ranking didn’t move up an inch, why?
Well, that’s what we’re together on this page to find out, and see how you can go about fixing things up, and hopefully your ranking will start moving up the search results page.
First, you’ll need to do a bit of work here to see if you’ve being guilty of some of the listed points below, you can then follow the suggestions to see how your search ranking will improve overtime.

#1. You’re not Getting the Right Links

What are the right links, I guess you are asking?
There are a wide range of scenarios that determine the effectiveness of a link pointing to a page at any given time, here I discuss five:

Low Root Domain/Page Authority

Five or six years ago, this could mean different thing, and can really shoot a page right the roof top…but not anymore.
Getting links from low root domain may in today’s competitive online marketing place, and the struggles to hit #1 on Google SERP for high competitive queries will do little to nothing in regards to helping a page moving up an inch in search ranking.
Links from low root domain authority won’t yield better result especially if you’re trying to rank for high competitive search queries. This links may come from relevant pages, but their domain or page authority doesn’t have the firepower to move another external page up in search ranking.

How do you Discover High Authority Domain/Pages?

I use two simple tools to quickly analyze the important metrics of a domain/page either on search result page or current browser tab page url.
SEOQuake and Mozbar are two of my favorites Google Chrome extensions SEO tools.
With the help of these tools, you quickly get important data you need to evaluate a page metrics and see if they worth adding more values to your pages. Mozbar let you quickly analyze Page and Domain authority, current page analysis, followed, nofollow, Internal and external links on a page – you get more page analysis with Moz pro subscription.
SEOQuake do lots more. From Alexa traffic rank to whois data, # of index pages – you get a wider range of quality info of a page instantly.
With these two set of SEO tools, It is now possible to channel your link building efforts to where it will bring you the best returns in the shortest possible time.

– Relevancy

Though in some rare cases, the absence of this might make a different in ranking, but to get the best out of your link building strategies, it will do more good if your links are coming from pages that are on same topic or sub-topic as yours.
Lets assume you write on WordPress Plugins, and you get linked to from a page that talked about “breast cancer cure“, I don’t know how links from such page will benefit you for anything.
Even if such page has a very high page and domain authority, Google may choose to discount it for so many obvious reasons.

– Getting Links from Same Domain

Diversifying your link building profile is one of the most important link building strategies to master after post-Google algorithm updates that have changed the SEO game.
Gone are the era where gazillion links from a few root domain can make the BIG different in search engine ranking; now “more is not better“, is now all about the quality of links even if they’re just a few hundreds from different root domain.
Start getting links from different domain and page authority sites asides from the ones you already had, take your link building campaign further – reach out to other webmasters, create new connections, establish new relationship, market your content to wider relevant audience.
From this activities, and if done correctly you may get fresh links from new domains that will add to your link building profile.

– Location On a Page

If your links are placed on the sidebars, footer links, etc……Google again may choose to discount it.
This is not like getting links within the main content on a page, and I don’t think there would ever be a time that links in these places will hold same value as links in the main content.
In Google’s eye, links placed in such places as footer and sidebars of a page are good as promotional links, or for showing stuffs out and not editorial links.
Get your links placed in the main content of a page. Though this is harder to achieve, because you have no control over what goes on other people’s blog.
Here are few strategies to get your links in the main body content:
  • Do Guest Post. After the Google crack down on blog network such as MyBlogGuest, adding links in the body of a guest post became a forbidden thing. But don’t worry, you can still get a link in your guest article if you offer great value, sincerity and the link is highly relevant, necessary and best for educational purpose. If this is just “a” link in the article pointing to your site, most blog owners won’t worry much over it, but if you populate your guest post with external links, that’s a red flag.
  • Use Link Roundup Sites. Link round-up sites are very good ways to get what looks like an editorial links, because the webmasters ask for it. Find sites that publish link round-up articles in your niche, submit your recent best work for inclusion in their link roundup post. If your entry is highly informative and useful, it will get published and a link back to your site is guarantee, though it may not be a followed link.
  • Use My Blog U. My blog U is a community of content marketers that relate together on different topics and engagements. Here you will get the advantage of being interview, share your expertise and get cited in the publication. It’s an easy way to get links to your sites. Though, there are lots of low-level domain authority sites over there, but it is a way good way to get started.
  • Contribute to expert opinion post. Though you can’t make this happen on your own, your participation in an expert opinion posts will come mostly from the level of expertise you’ve successfully demonstrated over the years. Start building your expert portfolio today, and sooner, people will start knocking on your door for opinions on industry related issues to be published on their blog with a link back to your domain.

– Credibility

Trustworthiness of links is one very important signal Google looks into before deciding either to count a link as a vote for your webpage or not to count it.
If your incoming links are from questionable sites, it may hurt your site search ranking instead of helping it improve ranking.
Verify that your link partners are not involved in any kind of shady SEO tactics that may results into penalizing external sites they’ve also linked to. The dent this kind of problem leaves on your part maybe so severe that may result in you starting a new blog all over or takes months to recover from the consequences of Google hammer.

2. Searchers Intent

Sometimes, you’ve just written and publish what you believe to be an epic content.
This content you expect to rank top on Google page one result, with all the leg work of manual link building you’ve get to it; but remember – an epic content is said to be useful if only the consumer of such information find it valuable and it solved her problem(s), otherwise it’s useless.
What happen next?
Zilch.
It remains on Google search result page two or even three for its focus keyword.
The problem sometimes is what Google in their own discretion believe to be the searchers intent – what the searcher really wants to get from typing into search box such words.
It doesn’t matter to Google what you think of your page, if Google believes that the user want more than what your content talked about, then it will not be shown to that user but another more in-depth article that touched on every points concerning that topic.
This is why sometimes; you will see some old pages outranking some fresh ones in SERP for same keyword. Google interpret searcher intent, based on different search queries and combination of words.
If you’re looking for a strategy that walks you through on how to cover a topic in full without going off track, take advantage of “topical targeting”.
Let’s assume your choosing keyword is “what is SEO”?
Technically, once you’ve define what SEO means in search marketing terms, you’ve answer the question and could decide to wrap up the article there. But such approach to writing content will only leave your search traffic to chance.
Go further on the topic, go fully on topical targeting by including in your information sub-topic on what is SEO like “how to do effective search engine optimization”, “what is on-page and off page seo”, “How to go about on-page and off-page seo to maximize your chances of hitting top ranking” etc…
Now you’re writing something that will ended up look like “an ultimate guide to xxx”, and no more a sub-topic or branch of that industry topic.
Sure, a user who type into search box “what is SEO” doesn’t know a bit of the term and is definitely seeking for information that will explain all about the concept of “search engine optimization”.
Give him a complete dish full of meat and potatoes. He will sure thank you, and the search engines spiders will be happy that you didn’t make their work harder by looking for another search result to present anyone asking same question.

3. Click-Through Rate – CTR.

Well, you might have heard this before, but didn’t pay attention to its importance – is that time you take it seriously to ensure that users don’t bounce off too quickly from your site. A higher bounce rate could possibly tell Google that users are not satisfy with your website content.
And a lower bounce rate could possibly tell Google that your content perfectly answer users search queries, this could results into Google rewarding you with better search ranking for such phrase.
There are lots of reasons users could quickly leave your page within a second of stopping by.
  • Your content doesn’t meet with his/her expectation, because it is poorly written and badly formatted.
  • Your content doesn’t answer her question within the first few paragraphs, because you’re just rambling all over the places.
  • Your website design doesn’t appeal to her.
  • Too many clusters and distraction on the content area itself – Adsense ads, affiliate banners embed at every junction within that article.
  • Slow page speed.
  • Your mobile visitors are finding it difficult to access your site.
  • Bad navigation menu.
Take a look at your website and analyze what could be wrong, if you can’t do this yourself, get a professional that can look into things and tell you what to fix and what to remove.
However, if you can spend a little cash on SEO tools, there are quality once out there that makes things easier. SEO PowerSuite from Link-Assistant is a complete sets of search engine optimization tools that will drastically improve the seo quality of your website if done right.
Google built is search engine with the goal to provide users with the best possible answers to their search queries. So, build your blog for users.

Conclusion

Before going ahead on your link building campaign, make sure you know and understand what your goals are, and that your blog is well optimize to support the links you’re going after.
This will lead you to the right path and help you identify potential effective link building opportunities lying around the corner that will accelerate your progress level.

List Building Profit Review – How to Grow Your Mailing List

Running a blog and website takes a lot more than just frequently posting great content. A lot of times, content marketing can be a means to an end, as it allows you to collect visitors’ e-mail information through link building, which then gives you the opportunity to target them through e-mail marketing.
Almost everyone has an e-mail list, but not everyone profits from them. Fortunately, there are resources available to teach us how to create better lists, better e-mail marketing campaigns, and better click funnels.
List Building Profit has three great products created by Stefan Edlund, which are the core training & resources course, the e-mail marketing mastery course, and Done For You Funnels. We will now take a look at each of these components in detail.

List Building Profits Core Training & Resources

The biggest product currently available from ListBuildingProfit is their core training, which is a comprehensive training program that teaches users how to build responsive lists, and how to profit from them.
Stefan posted a screen shot of his own earnings to show that you can, in fact, generate large amounts of income by using this program.
List Building Profits Reviewed
With the core training program you get:
  • Core Training Content: Available in video, audio, and transcripts/ebook formats, the core training of the course goes into detail about proven strategies and tried and true techniques that have been found to build highly responsive and profitable lists online. If you want to expand your business and your site, this is essential content you’ll want.
    List Building Profits Reviewed
This core training gives you the exact blueprint you need to create profitable lists; the blueprint is customizable and easy to build off of. The goal is to increase your opt-ins in as little as three days, and to use that to increase your profit.
  • Cheatsheet: You can utilize the cheatsheet as you go through training, going through a checklist of everything you need to do to succeed with list building. It helps to point out what actions you have to take, and how to take them.
  • Mindmap: An overview of the entire training course, this tool gives you the “big picture view” to see how you’ll build your list and generate profit from it.
Though the core training and initial resources listed above alone are worth paying for, Stefan added in some bonuses unique to buyers of the core training program.
These unique bonuses include:
  • “Your First Thousand”: A course worth $47 on its own, this program shows you how to make your first $1,000 online, as well as how to get other people to send you traffic to help build your list. Like the core training, it comes with transcripts, video, and audio lessons.
    List Building Profits Reviewed
  • “Viral List Blueprint”: Another course worth $47 alone, you get the run down on how to harness the power of viral marketing, and how to apply that to your list building strategies. You can also see how you can get others to happily build your list for you.
    List Building Profits Reviewed
  • Affiliate Unlocked 3.0: You’ll get the secrets to Stefan’s personal system of how to get big commissions from big brands and labels, as well as how to build highly effective affiliate campaigns that will bring in recurring profit.
    List Building Profits Reviewed
Especially for online marketers, site managers, and bloggers, this e-course is essential and can greatly increase your revenue and your client base. Each of the courses and items that come with the purchase is worth buying alone, so it’s even better that it comes together in a package deal.
Right now, you can get all of this for a one-time fee of only $9.95. The low cost of entry should be enticing to any blogger or online marketer who is interested in increasing their traffic and lead generation online. Most courses like this, as we all know, charge hundreds of dollars for less.
For only $9.95, what do you have to lose?

Back-Ended Courses

In addition to the main List-Building-Profit core training course, Stefan has created two other products that aren’t as heavily promoted, but that I highly recommend.
The first is E-mail Marketing Mastery.
E-mail Marketing Mastery is another course comes in the format of an ebook, a video, and an audio recording. You can download one or all three formats. This course gives you all the information you need to run successful, profitable e-mail marketing campaigns.
List Building Profits Reviewed
E-mail marketing is an essential part of what I do, and this course has helped me do it even better. It’s an easy to use step-by-step system, and it’s easy to apply to every industry, field, and audience.
The second back-ended product is Done for You Funnels.
When you purchase Done For You Funnels, you’re automatically getting four complete, ready-to-use funnels that you can start using right away. The four funnels are highly efficient and effective; I’ve seen big increases in conversions coming from them, so this is a product I definitely recommend.
List Building Profits Reviewed
Both products are great and have increased the success of (and profit from) my e-mail marketing campaigns. Once again, alone they’re great—but together they’re much more powerful.

Unannounced Bonuses

As if any of the above products alone weren’t enough motivation to purchase, you also get “unannounced bonuses” that come as a welcome addition, and you do so without any additional payment required. You currently get the unannounced bonuses with the purchase of any of the three courses and products described above.
These bonuses include:
  • A rebrandable ebook
  • A viral URL
  • Mobile squeeze pages
    Mobile_Squeeze_Pages
  • 28 opt in boxes
    List Building Profits Reviewed
  • One month free hosting
As these bonuses are unannounced and unofficial—and not part of the purchase agreement—they can be waived or stopped at any time. Because of that, I’d recommend hurrying and purchasing the courses and training while they are still being distributed.
Again, even without the bonuses, each and every course is worth purchasing—but why not get the valuable bonuses if you can?

Final Thoughts on List Building Profits

If you have a website for your business, each of these courses are valuable, both alone or combined together. List building, e-mail marketing, and successful click funnels are essential to keeping and increasing steady traffic coming back to your site, as well as being essential to increasing your profit.
With all of the guides and coaching material within this course, you should be able to build better lists, send better e-mails, and find increased success with your lead generation funnels. They work great alone, but the power they offer when combined together is worth the investment—especially when you consider the low pricing.

10 Types of Blog Posts That Will Help Your Traffic Shoot Through the Roof

Research from Hubspot has shown that businesses that blog receive 67% more leads than businesses that do not blog.
That’s good news, but does it all end with starting a blog? Apparently, your content schedule matters, too.
Data from Hubspot also revealed that 82% of businesses that blog daily acquired a customer through their blog, compared to 57% of businesses that blog monthly; while both results are impressive, it’s proven that blogging more frequently will yield more ROI.
So how often should you blog? That depends on your goals and budget. Superstar blogger and founder of QuickSprout, Neil Patel revealed that moving from posting once a week to twice a week led to a quick and sharp increase in traffic to his blog.
If you’re looking to blog more often, you need ideas and this post will give you an abundance of them.
Here are 10 types of blog posts that will help your traffic shoot through the roof:
1. The Resource Article
I’m listing this as #1 because it’s my favorite type of blog post due to the massive amount of traffic it can send; besides being a proven traffic driver, the resource article has also been one of my most profitable types of blog posts.
Resources are effective because they go beyond giving people just tips; instead, they share actual resources that people can take action on.
A good example of a resource article that I’m sure will be a big hit in no time is my recent article here on Blogging Tips, featuring a list of blogs that pay for guest posts; this is a “double resource” because I’m solving two problems; I’m giving people a list of blogs they can guest post on, while also giving them a list of blogs that will pay them for their articles.
A series of resource articles I did on my writing blog have averaged over 100,000 views, and replicating this on my marketing blog resulted in 20,000% more page views than the average article.
I did a full case study on this on Digital Current, and it is linked below:
2. The Interview
Interviews are very easy to conduct, and the right interview with a renowned industry figure can send your traffic shooting through the roof.
The key to successful interviews lies in interviewing the right people; will their knowledge be beneficial to your audience? Will their insights change the lives of your readers? If you can answer yes to these two questions, then go ahead and interview them.
3. The Expert Roundup
Expert roundups are blog posts gathering thoughts and opinion from experts, or featuring advice/strategy from them, and including it in one article.
You can either ask a group of experts a question and collate their advice into a blog post, or you can scour the web for advice from certain experts on a particular topic and feature it on your blog.
This type of post is good for traffic because most of the experts you feature will be inclined to share it, and this can lead to more traffic from their audience to your blog.
Here’s a good example of an expert roundup I was recently asked to be a part of.
4. Answers to Reader’s Question
This is a blog post format I’m starting to do more of lately, and I’m noticing that the more I do it the more it fosters a sense of community among my readers.
The idea behind this is simple; if a reader asks me a question – maybe via email, comments, surveys or social media – and I see it to be a very common question, I’ll write a blog post based on this and let people know that a reader inspired it.
This type of blog post is very well received because it’s based on a question/concern your readers have. It also fosters a sense of community because readers can see that you are paying attention to them, and they’ll be able to feel that you care for them.
5. A Post Inspired by Your Readers’ Actions
This type of blog post is also based on reader feedback, but the idea behind it is to establish you as an authority by showing people that readers are taking action by following your advice, and that they are getting results.
This type of blog post showcases readers implementing your advice and getting results, and it encourages other people to take action.
Besides being a good source of traffic, I noticed that the social proof factor, when readers see “ordinary” people like them getting results from following your suggestions, can lead to more sales for you.
6. Case Studies
Case studies do more for your credibility than traffic, and this matters a lot on the long run because it ensures you’re not just getting “quantity” traffic but that you are also getting quality traffic.
Case studies are usually designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of an approach you teach, or of a service/product you offer; the idea behind them is to chronicle a challenge, your approach towards solving it and the end result.
7. Success Stories
Success stories are also usually highly received because they make people see what is possible, and they motivate them to take action to get similar results.
From my experience blogging, success stories are usually top performing posts – especially in the short term.
A good example of a successful success story I published on my blog recently was one, by Agota Bialobzeskyte, sharing Oliver Emberton’s success on Quora, and how he leveraged this to build a popular blog. The article was very well received, and it got hundreds of shares and thousands of views.
8. Top List Posts
Top list posts can be very powerful for driving traffic, and you’ll hardly see a list of blog post types that doesn’t include them.
Top lists posts are articles sharing lists of something e.g. “top 10…”, “10 ways to…”, etc.
With sites dedicated to top lists like Listverse getting 15 million readers monthly, the power of top lists posts shouldn’t be underestimated.
9. Ultimate Guides
Ultimate guides are usually comprehensive, definitive guides on a subject; the idea behind this type of blog post is to cover everything readers wants to know about a particular subject inside one article, so that they don’t have to go elsewhere for information related to that subject.
Ultimate guides can also include visuals and multimedia; this includes screenshots, videos, pictures and infograhics.
Due to the comprehensive and definitive nature of ultimate guides, they get a lot of links and shares; this leads to significant direct, social and search traffic.
10. “How To” Articles
How to articles can do wonders for your traffic, and a key source of traffic for how to posts is search engines.
Think about it, most of the time, when you’re confused about how to do something the next step is to go to Google and type “how to…”
It’s the same for your readers, and you can be sure that they will respond well to articles teaching them how to do something they want to learn how to do.

How to Use Demographic Targeting and Infographics to Create Blog Content

Demographic targeting has been used by advertisers long before the Internet was even a thing. Demographic targeting is a compilation of information about a certain group of people that the advertiser wants to target, such as their age, income, education level, marital status and so on. Advertisers can home in on one group, such as women, to sell their products, and they can use that targeting information to learn more about that group.
Infographics are visual representations of data, ranging from survey results to demographic information. Instead of just listing the numbers on the page or in a chart, an artist creates images that reflect the data or presents it in an interesting way.
Infographics are a gold mine for blog content, and demographic targeting can help you understand what kind of content your audience wants to read. Here are a few tips for how to use both create your blog content:

Rewrite Infographics Into Narrative Form

Infographics are created for visual learners, but not everyone prefers to process information that way. You can pull the data from the infographic and write a straight blog post with the information, including bolded words and bullet points to break up huge blocks of text.
Even if you have already published the infographic on your site, you can still write the blog post. Google does not count it as duplicate content because it cannot scan the infographic for the words; it only processes it as a picture.
This is actually being done on a daily basis over at MarketingInfographics.org, where they publish a new infographic every day, along with an original 300-500 word article to help with search rankings.
Marketing_Infographics__org_-_Great_Infographics_for_Online_Marketers

Explore an Interesting Facet of the Data

Infographics usually explore a topic in depth, presenting multiple interesting points. You can write a blog post that focuses in on just one aspect of the data.
For example, this bankruptcy report shows the highest number of bankruptcy filings by county and by state. You could write a blog post about why Tennessee is leading the state in bankruptcy filings. You might find that a major industry there is drying up or that the subprime mortgage crisis hit the state hard. You could then tie what you find back to your demographic information, highlighting the information that is most relevant to your target audience.
You can write multiple blog posts from one infographic using this strategy.
Bankruptcy_by_Country

Identify Trends

When analyzing the data from an infographic, you might find that trends emerge. For example, the bankruptcy report above shows that many of the states with the most bankruptcy filings are in the south and themidwest. You could explore why that is and write a blog post or series of posts that explain what’s been happening in the economy over the last several years.
Google Trends is a great example of a way to look at different data points and demographics that people are currently searching for on any given day.

Compare and Contrast

The data from every infographic has a source. Usually, it’s a study released by some think tank, government agency or corporation. These groups typically have an agenda, and their research may not always be airtight. You may find other studies that present competing information.
Even if the infographic is being posted on another site that isn’t the original, you can usually find the infographic source at the bottom of the article.
22_Successful_Entrepreneurs_and_Their_Quotes_to_Live_By
Look for other studies on the same topic, and write a post or series of post that compare and contrast the data. Explore why there are discrepancies and what the information means for your target demographic.

Start a Debate

Find infographics on potentially controversial subjects, like this one on breastfeeding, and use the information to start a debate. For this infographic, you could explore why breastfeeding rates have risen, whether it is beneficial, and what more could be done to promote breastfeeding. You could then invite your readers to share their thoughts. Just take a look at the social shares surrounding this post and topic.

These types of conversations can spark huge debates that will channel plenty of traffic to your site and make your readers feel more engaged.
Infographics and demographic information are a treasure trove of data that you can use to create dynamic content for your blog and grow your readership. Explore all the ways you can use them to create content.

PTEngine – Advanced Web Analytics at Your Finger Tips

As bloggers and site owners, nothing is more important than getting visitors to our sites. Remember when you first started your blog and there was nothing more exciting than seeing those little numbers (site visitors) increase over time? Yea, we all remember those days… however, as our sites grow in size, we start to fade away from the interest in site visitors and start looking at other areas like how to monetize our sites and getting people on our mailing lists.
Good news — the days of looking at fun and interesting stats are here once again! This time in the forms of advanced web analytics and amazing heatmaps that actually show where people are clicking on your site, what they are viewing and why the end of leaving.
All of which is provided through the advanced web analytics and heatmap platform at PTengine.com. In the rest of this article we are going to be taking a look at why every site owner should be using their services and how you can better understand, monetize and engage with your audience in the process.

PTEngine – Everything You Need to Better Understand Your Site Traffic

As mentioned, the days of just knowing ‘how many’ people are coming to your site are long over — now it’s all about digging deep into your analytics and seeing where you audience is coming from, how long they are spending on your site, what they are clicking on and even seeing heatmaps and recordings of what users are doing while they are on your site.
PTengine has created an amazingly powerful, yet easy to use solution for site owners to better understand their traffic and how they are using their sites. Knowing what your audience is doing when they are on your site isn’t just a vanity play, it’s actually being used to increase page views, time being spent on a site and monetization.
PTEngine_Web_Analytics_and_Heatmap_Tracking_Platform
Think of it like this… if you could see people coming to your site and that a good majority of them end up clicking on links that send them away from your site, wouldn’t you want to remove these distractions from your site? Of course you would!
It’s little things like this that add up to huge swings in performance, engagement and conversions — all of which can be achieved through PTengine’s tools and platform.
Best of all, it’s free to setup an account and start monitoring your traffic right away!

The Many Benefits within PTengine’s Platform

While the concept of advanced site tracking and heatmaps is nothing new, it’s becoming more common to find providers that specialize in multiple forms of site tracking. PTengine is one of these services, which offers a wide range of tracking methods like the ones below.
  • Real Time Data: No one wants to wait around for site data reports — everything needs to be instant these days, and if you can’t provide instant, your customers will go elsewhere. PTengine provides real time data of people that are on your site right now. Want to see if visited over the past few weeks or months? That’s also an option as well.
    Real_Time_Analytics_from_PTengine
  • Multi Domain Monitoring: Many of us already have multiple sites and blogs that we manage. Nothing is more frustrating than having to setup multiple accounts for each of our sites, or being limited on how many we can setup. Once setup with your PTengine account, you can add all of your sites from within one account.
  • Group Analytics: Gain control of your analytics and detailed tracking, by setting up group tracking so you can report for different areas for your site. A good example of this would be if you had an ecommerce site, that also has a blog and even your landing pages as well. All tracked separately to provide you with the best results possible
  • Fully Responsive Website Support: Whether you aren’t sure how to setup a tracking code on your site (which can easily be done through the use of their WordPress Plugin), have a question about the members area or maybe you even think you came across a bug in the system — the PTengine support team is always available to answer your questions and provide the best support possible.
  • Click Heatmap: Heatmaps are simply one of the best ways to get a deep understanding of how your visitors are navigating through your site. With a heatmap you can clearly see the hot points of where people are clicking and the cold areas that are getting ignored.
    Heatmap_Tracking_with_PTengine
  • Attention Heatmap: Similar to a heatmap, the attention heatmap will show you how much time is being spent on different areas of your site. While we all know that the majority of people will see the top portion of your page, how far does the average visitor scroll down before they end up leaving your site?
  • Funnel Conversion Tracking: More web sites and blogs are using funnels for lead generation than ever before. PTengine has built in conversion tracking so you can see how many people are going through your full funnel process, while also giving you the ability to discover key areas you can clean up to increase conversions.
    Conversion_Funnel_Tracking_from_PTengine
This is just a handful of the features and benefits available through PTengine, to see a complete list and visual examples of each, click here.
I also recommend taking a look at the case studies found on their site. Here you will see how many other big name sites and brands are currently using PTengine to increase performance and engagement around their sites.

PTengine Pricing Structure

It’s free to setup an account with PTengine, as long as you don’t surpass their 20,000 monthly page view cap. Should you pass this level or have a site with a lot of traffic, you would then need to upgrade your account to actively have access to all areas, tracking and reports.

Even with an upgrade to your account, you are still looking at only $39 a month, which includes up to 50,000 page views per month and up to 20 domains tracked. The more traffic you have, the higher level account you would want to go after.
PTEngine_Pricing_Plans
The good news is that you can setup an account for free, have everything up and running, and then decide later on if you would like to upgrade or not. If your site is receiving over 50,000 visitors per month, these low monthly costs shouldn’t be much of an investment compared to the amount of data and knowledge you will be learning about your traffic.
You can see a full list of their plans and pricing that are available here.

PTengine Referral Program

As bloggers, word usually spreads quickly whenever we come across a great new service or product that is helping us with our sites on online marketing. Just like you, I’m probably going to share it with my friends, site audience and social followers. Should any of these recommended services have an affiliate program, even better!
Blogging for Money
Good news! PTengine has an affiliate program of their own as well!
This is a great opportunity for other bloggers and online marketers to share the word on PTengine and benefit financially in the process. As a partner of the PTengine affiliate program, you will earn a commission every time you send a new visitor to their site, who then ends up becoming a user — which is dead simple since it’s free to setup an account!

How to Start Tracking with PTengine

There is a good chance that you have a visitor or two on your web site or blog right now. As you are reading this, your Google Analytics counter is racking up the numbers… but you are still only getting a fraction of the reporting and data you could be getting if you were using PTengine.
I’ve laid all of the benefits and features out there for you. Now it’s time for you to take action and sign up for your free account and know your traffic and audience like never before!

101+ Actionable Expert Tips to Grow Your Blog

One of my favorite things about blogging and running a business on the internet is that you can connect with anyone around the world at any given time. This holds true for both connecting with your blog audience, but also with entrepreneurs, mentors, business experts and more.
This is completely different from the traditional world of business and advertising in that everyone is so willing to share information and help others around them. Think if you ran a local business and wanted to get the advice from other competing local businesses in your area — they would probably laugh in your face and tell you to leave.
However, in the world of online business, everyone is going out of their way to not only help those around them, but also willingly sharing their own success, failures and everything in between. That is exactly why the internet has progressed to what it is today.
In the infographic below, which was originally featured on ZacJohnson.com, we get to share 101+ actionable tips from leading experts and authorities on the internet today, with a few of my favorites listed below.

  • Analyze your competition and replicate what’s working for them.

That’s a lot of tips, with lots of familiar faces!
I’m finding that while there’s a lot of expert advice out there, it feels overwhelming because you just know you can’t possibly follow every tip. Even following just a few of these, like connecting to influencers, setting concrete goals and just putting yourself out there makes a big difference and puts you light-years ahead of others who don’t bother to read up on expert advice.
I’m a freelance writer, and I create blogs for my business clients to help them establish relationships with their customers and get more visible. Not only do I have to promote my own services, I help my clients promote theirs so my writing helps them reach their goals. It’s so important to demonstrate value first – in great blog posts and conversations with others – that’s how you create the influence you need to get ahead.
