How to Build Relationships with Top Bloggers using Social Media? Part 4

Most of the people use social media wrong. They just think of it as a way to share their posts and get more traffic.
This can be one of the benefits, but this is the least effective one specially for new bloggers. There are many benefits from social media that even some gurus don’t utilise them to expand their reach and take their business to the next level.
Social media can be a way to research your market, know what is ticking to your audience and start writing about it. It can also be a great way to build relationships with top bloggers, bloggers that you think you can’t never reach. Social media is really a great way to connect with others and start a relationship with them.
The reason why social media can be a great way to engage with is because you’re in a smaller community than their blog. Much more smaller. That’s why your job becomes easier. They can notice you in that smaller community.
This can help you submit guest posts to top blogs. It can also help you be pomoted by them and many other things.
Social media can be the tipping point that help you expand your reach.
So, let’s dive in and see how you can build relationships with top bloggers in your niche.
Before we actually dive in into the content, make sure to check other parts of the series.

Share their posts and tag them to know about it:

When they have something great on their blog, share it on your social media profiles.
Here are some tips to help you make the most out of it:
  • Make sure to tag them so they know about it
  • Don’t just write the title and then link to the best
  • You can add a quote that you liked from them and then link to the post.
These are easy tips. You can go now and start doing them.
The best thing is that you can buffer tweets, so you can just do this work one time every week.

Try to start a conversation and keep it going:

This can be the most effective tip here in the post.
Top bloggers always ask questions on their social profiles. Try to answer them but in a creative way. Hook them with your answer, so the least thing they can do is to say thank you.
But then the conversation stop. How can you keep it going?
Ask creative questions, that need them some time to answer, not just a yes/no question. Make that question something they will love to answer.
Note: They are asked 100s of questions every day and they may not respond to any. That’s why you need to make it something creative and short.

Last words:

Social Meida is a great way to connect with influencers in your niche.
But don’t waste your time in it. Social media can be distracting.
This is the last part in the series. I’ll create the next post to wrap things up.
Tell me what do you think about it so far. Hope to hear from all of you in the comments.
