OngageConnect Offers More Effective Email Marketing

There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to email marketing and this can be overwhelming for businesses of all sizes. You want to get the best possible return on investment and you don’t want your efforts to go to waste. After all, what’s the point of sending that mailout if the message doesn’t actually get delivered to the recipient or it doesn’t actually get opened?
Working to help you achieve your email marketing goals is Ongage, a gateway platform that is designed to optimize deliverability, harnessing the power of multiple ESPs to maximize your chances of email marketing success.

Harness Multiple ESPs and SMTPs

At its core, OngageConnect is a product offered by Ongage that allows you to leverage multiple email service providers (ESPs) from a single unified interface. It can tap into multiple ESPs and multiple SMTPs, all without forcing to log in and manage each of them separately.

This is a very niche product, but it is relevant to small and medium business owners, as well as people running much larger email marketing campaigns for giant corporations. The multi-ESP gateway allows you to select the best performing ESP or SMTP relay for each geographic region, domain, campaign or segment.
For example, you might find that you are getting a better delivery or open rate with Emailvision in one country, but you are getting better performance with SendGrid in another country. Normally, you would then have to split up your list accordingly, by hand, in each system so that the message is delivered from the best ESP. With Ongage, you don’t need to do that, because you can manage these email marketing optimization from one interface.

Unified Front-End Interface

To get a sense of how Ongage works, they have a live demo available on the site. You do have to sign up for a free account, but they don’t require any payment information until you ready to sign up for a paid plan.

As you can see, OngageConnect effectively provides you with a powerful front-end for cloud SMTP. You can manage all of your campaigns from the unified dashboard, which not only tells you about your campaigns, email names, and schedule, but it gives you the current progress, which ESPs are being used for each campaign, and so forth.
The service supports A/B split campaigns, you can manage your events, and you can go through your lists to see all sorts of useful stats and analytics like the number of active mumbers and number of bounces. You can also see the list size by domain. Using all of this data, you can then easily reroute your email to use the ESPs that are working best for each given situation.
OngageConnect has been designed to work with any API-enabled ESP and they have already connected to over 25 ESPs to date (and counting).
The interface can be overwhelming for people who are new to email marketing, but as I said at the top, there are a lot of moving parts. What OngageConnect does is empower the user to best increase their overall performance and revenues.

How Much Does It Cost?

While the demo account gives you a sense of what you can expect in terms of functionality, it’s with the 14-day free trial that you can really see how OngageConnects performs for you under real world circumstances. From there, you can opt for one of hte available flat-free pricing plans.

These start as low as $10 a month for the Entry plan, which includes up to 20,000 emails a month with an overage charge of $0.01 per email after that. This does only allow for one ESP, though. You need to step up to at least the $99 Bronze plan before you can use two ESPs and that includes a monthly volume of up to 600,000 emails. You can always inquire about getting additional ESPs or SMTP relays for your account.
